BNI celebrates 10th founding anniversary, commits to promoting youth work practice.

On Saturday, 7th December 2019, we had the pleasure of hosting our maiden Nation Builders Summit to commemorate our 10th founding anniversary. The Summit tagged‘’Rediscovering lost values’’ emphasized the need for promoting values-driven leadership through youth work practice.

Professor Ayo Ojebode, a Professor of Development Communication at the University of Ibadan, spoke extensively on promoting values driven leadership through cross-generational communication. He highlighted the seven core values of section 23 of the Nigerian Constitution as essential to nation building.

Speaking at the event, Oluwamayowa Tijani, a multi-award winning development journalist explained the role of  new media in promoting values driven leadership, consequently nation building.

The summit also featured the official induction of BNI Fellows; Oluwamayowa Tijani, Oluwaseun Adepoju, Oluwatobi Oso, Precious Adebola, Yemi Adekunle, Tomiwa Adeyemo, Adedayo Aremu, and John Oluwadero.

Also, the new executives for the BNI Oyo State Network were inducted.

The summit had in attendance BNI Board Chair, Tolulope Adebayo, and Executive Board member, Dr. Ola John Adepoju.
