The Quality Education for All Project (The QUEFA Project)
The Quality Education for All Project (The QUEFA Project) is the newly envisioned project of BNI which involves the provision of educational support and materials to schools in rural areas, so as to improve the quality of education in such rural area.
The vision of the project is to promote the quality of education in rural primary and secondary schools.
Our goal is to reach five rural schools in a year for the first two years of operation i.e. a total of 10 schools in the next two years (i.e. 2013 to 2015).
Activities of the QUEFA Project include;
1. Organising campaigns to solicit the support of the public to donate used books voluntarily.
2. Partnering with publishing firm under any of the following scheme:
(a) Donations of old, unsold books in their stores either freely or at a very subsidized price.
(b) Free donation of 5% of every book they publish as part of their corporate social responsibility.
(c) Purchasing textbooks for rural schools at very subsidized rates.
3. Soliciting for the support governmental, non-governmental, private, and public organizations under any of the following scheme:
(a) Provision of financial assistance (b) donation of used computers, projectors, office equipment.
