In our effort to limit the spread and risk of exposure to COVID-19 to our host community and the public, and to adhere to the basic protective measures as set forth by the World Health Organisation, the BNI Youth Centre shall temporarily be closed to the public and all programs and services cancelled.
This means that until further notice, all of the following programs and services are postponed:
- Weekly Teens Club
- Language for Diplomacy classes (including the forthcoming test for French students).
- Open Information Session on Language proficiency for Graduate Study, Work, and Travel.
- 2020 Graduate Mentorship School
- Young Leaders Meet-up.
- And all other BNI programs that serve children and youth in schools are cancelled.
As always we remain committed to ensuring the safety and protection of the young people we serve. In view of this, we have introduced a COVID-19 Response Team to advice on how best to deliver our youth services through digital platforms hence reducing the risk of spread associated with social gatherings.
Furthermore, the Response Team shall be engaged in providing youth focused public enlightenment and awareness campaign on adapting to changing lifestyle that will be required of young people as basic protective measures against the spread of the Coronavirus.
Through your support and understanding, we believe we shall definitely get over this pandemic as a people, even as we take personal responsibility for preventing the spread.
We encourage you to abide by the guidelines and precautions set by health authorities such as the World Health Organisation WHO and the National Center for Diseases Control NCDC.
